Each spring, Crown & Rein takes to the road with a mission rooted in stewardship and one that extends beyond transport- to empower and equip horse owners with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to keep their horses safe. Our annual Trailer Safety & Loading Clinics are held across the country and are open to all members of the equine community. 

We partner with reputable trailer repair specialists, experienced trainers, and respected host barns to create an immersive, comprehensive, hands-on learning experience. Bring your trailer for a complimentary professional safety inspection, ensuring it is road ready, structurally sound, and secure for every journey you and your horse are planning. Bring your horse for a professional loading and unloading clinic, where skilled and accomplished trainers will emphasize patience, confidence-building, and humane communication with your horse.  

In addition, we tailor parts of our two-day clinic content to the specific and unique needs of owners and horses in each region of the United States. Examples include:

• Western USA: We work alongside local firefighters to help you prepare for wildfire season- covering evacuation strategies, barn safety planning, and how to move horses quickly and safely when every second matters. 

• Midwest and South: We focus on tornado awareness and response- providing guidance on shelter planning, safe handling strategies, and decision-making during fast moving weather events. 

At every clinic we address real-world and road travel emergencies. We help you understand solutions to common question such as: is it safer to pull over or keep moving during adverse weather conditions? What should I do if my trailer breaks down on the side of the road with my horse inside? How do I evaluate safe stopping locations in real time? 

We answer these questions and more- providing the tools, knowledge, confidence, and practical strategies that help keep both you and your horse safe on the road- because preparation is the foundation of true peace of mind.
